The producers got a jump on casting for 2020, as the authority opened casting applications before Season 11 finished airing It’s still early in the process, so we are waiting on final confirmation on the cities for taping locations, and the exact number of episodes to be included all information will be provided after the official notification. We expect the first episodes of season 12 to begin airing towards the end of May 2020 expect, with episodes airing throughout the summer. Locations of ANW Season 12 2020
- There is no announcement about the filming locations for ANW 2020 yet.
- More information will be announced about American Ninja Warrior Season 12 sometime after casting closes, possibly in February of 2020.
- Last year the tapings were in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Oklahoma City, Baltimore, Seattle/Tacoma, & Cincinnati.
- Casting is open for the next season (Season 12, 2020) of American Ninja Warrior! As Season 11 wraps up, the application page for season 12 (in 2020) has re-opened for applications.
- As of publishing, the dates and information on the casting page still show Season 11 / 2019 information, however, the team at American Ninja Warrior Nation has confirmed that applications submitted now will be reviewed for Season 12.
Eligibility Criteria for ANW:
- Candidate must be 19 years old on the date the filming takes place.
- As usual contestants must be US residents.
- Dates of filming and the exact dates won’t be announced till much closer.
- If previous years are any indication, filming will be in March, April, or May of 2020, and the finals will be returning to Las Vegas again.

- As ninjas get the call to compete in a region, we will post updates with the list of ninjas for each region.
- This will not begin happening until early spring 2020, so stay with us.
Casting and Qualifying to compete on American Ninja Warrior (ANW) Season 12 in 2020
- Casting for Season 12 of American Ninja Warrior opened in early September 2019.
- The last date to apply for Season 12 is December 6th, 2019!!.

Attending & Getting free tickets for a taping of an episode of ANW Season 12, 2020
- A few weeks before each episode films, the production company will post a link where you can sign up for tickets.
- They are usually free, you just have to sign up quickly to get a spot! You can join the waitlist for season 12 tickets here.
- The website currently expects tickets for a taping of season 12 to become available in March of 2020.
