The Voice of Australia Auditions 2020: Format
The series of the Voice of Australia consists of 3 steps :
- Blind Auditions
- Battle stage
- Live Performance
All 3 stages of the Voice of Australia have been explained below you must read.
1. Blind Audition:
- Four judge pick groups of contenders through a visually blind audition process.
- Each judge has the length of around one minute to choose in the event that the person needs that artist on his or her group;
- if at least two judges need a similar vocalist (as happens as often as possible), the artist has the last decision of mentor.
2. A battle phase :
- Each group of artists is tutored and coached by its mentor.
- In the second stage, known as the Battle Round, mentors pit two of their acts to fight against one another in a duet process, after which the mentor picks which act will move ahead to the next round.
- When the mentor has settled on a decision, alternate mentors have a chance to utilize one of just two saves each to take the other through to Super Battle round.
- In this round, every one of the rests of the 32 acts plays out a solo performance in front of an audience to rival three others for a place in the Live Round.
- The mentor can pick just a single from every one of these performances to advance to the last eight and the Live Round.
3. Live performance shows
- In the last stage, the rest of the challenges of the Final 8 go up against one another.
- The audience and mentors have equivalent say in choosing who proceeded onward to the last 4 stages.
- With one team member staying for each mentor, the last 4 compete in the finale with the result chosen by the public.
